I've been listening to David Bowie since the early a.m after hearing of his passing. I was just listening to him this past weekend. I also listened the weekend before that. I have been listening to him since I can remember. There are not enough words to say, to type about how extraordinaire Bowie was.
I'm seeing all sorts of dedication photos, quotes, articles to sum up his life and what he gave to his fans.
I'm sure you have to. That is why I am going to keep it short and just leave you with my favorite song of his. I also wanted to share some of his quotes, that are just, well you know, BOWIE.
"Scary Monsters & Super Creeps" David Bowie
"You can neither win nor lose if you don't run the race."
"The only real failure is trying to second-guess the taste of an audience. Nothing comes out of that except a kind of inward humiliation."
"Tomorrow belongs to those who can hear it coming."
"I'm looking for backing for an unauthorized auto-biography that I am writing. Hopefully, this will sell in such huge numbers that I will be able to sue myself for an extraordinary amount of money and finance the film version in which I will play everybody."
"Confront a corpse at least once. The absolute absence of life is the most disturbing and challenging confrontation you will ever have."
Rest in peace Goblin King.
